How to get listed on Facebook pages.
Facebook is more than a social network, it’s also a search engine. Many people are using Facebook to search for directions, business hours, and more from their page. Here is how to claim and get your business listed on Facebook.
1. Search for your business and click on Places.
When you type in your business name do not press the enter key. Instead click on See all results for… and click on Places.
2. Find your business and click on ‘Is this your business?’
Find your business listing and click on Is this your business in order to claim. If your business is not listed, then you will need to create a business page. Often there are duplicate listing on Facebook which you can merge into one. You will see this in the next step.
3. Either Merge or Claim and Verify via phone or documents.
Next Facebook will ask you to either Merge your business listing to a Verified Page or Claim and verify. Now you have claimed your business listing on Facebook! Be sure to update it with pictures and other information.
