How to add and claim your MerchantCircle business listing.
MerchantCircle is a free local merchant directory that offers many tools for small businesses. MerchantCircle has 2 million merchants and 100 million consumers. Here is how to add and claim your business listing to MerchantCircle and increase your online reputation.
1. Go to MerchantCircle and click on Sign up.
Get started by going to MerchantCircle’s main page and clicking on Sign up in the top right corner.
2. Select I’m a merchant and create an account.
Select I’m a merchant and enter your information. Then click Create my account. You will be prompted to enter more information on the next page.
3. Select or add your business.
Your business should come up on the list, if it does then click Claim this Business. If you don’t see your business, then click on Add your business to MerchantCircle at the bottom and follow the instructions.
4. Update your business listing information.
Now update your business information and make sure that it is exactly how you would like clients to see it. Triple check for spelling errors and use keywords in your business description. Once you are done and have triple checked your business information click on Next.
5. Select your plan.
Now you will have the option to select either a paid account or free account. In most cases a free account is enough for exposure, but if you want to get more out of your MerchantCircle account, then a paid account might make sense.
6. Verify your account via email.
Verify your account by checking your email. Now you will be able to access your MerchantCircle account and manage your online MerchantCircle business listing.
